Hyperlite's State 2.0 Mens Wakeboard is an asymmetrical all-ability level shape designed to take riders' skills to the next level. The goal behind this design was to create a shorter but more effective edge on the rider's toe-side, making hard-to-learn wake jumps a lot easier. This is achieved by having less rail to initiate when applying toe-side pressure, and the smoother toe-side transition is then held by the board's thinner profile molded-in fins, creating less drag and a better release off the top of the wake. Subtle Molded-In Toe-Side Footbed Risers were also added to help the rider create more leverage when pressure is applied.

The longer, more traditional heel-side edge complements this asymmetrical design by allowing the natural body position of the rider to generate stability and speed into the wake without a loss of pop due to reduced surface area. The Abrupt Continuous rocker line of the State 2.0 adds a little more kick to the speed that so many riders look for, transitioning to a slightly exaggerated tip and tail rocker, creating added pop without sacrificing speed into the wake. The Monocoque Construction, which integrates the top and bottom fiberglass layers into one, generates a more durable board on side impacts to prevent delamination. The Layered Glass used in the State 2.0 ensures that the same pop off the double up will be experienced year after year, as traditional woven glass fibers are less likely to separate over time.
